Results for Housing and Design :)

Well it’s been a while since i was last on, but I thought to share my Housing and Design TCE results with you.

Overall I got a CA with 10 points added to my score for getting into university.

Its been a while since I was last on here, but that’s because exams are coming up and I’m trying my best to study for them. BUT I FINALLY FINISHED MY FOLIO for Housing and Design. The design pretty much stayed the same all the way through the process, but I am really pleased with my final design.

Awesome Architecture Web Site and Uni Visit :)

During a recent visit to the University of Tasmania with my college, I got a chance to have a look at the School of Architecture & Design. It was awesome When I was there we got to build a building with 300m³ volume. It had to have maximum thermal efficiency and solar gain. It also had to have a wet, living and kitchen, and a sleeping area. We were given about 60 minutes to build it out of cardboard and hot glue. My group of course worked to the wrong scale, we were supposed to work to 1:50, I think my group worked to about 1:10 so our model was huge compared to the others, I think it was about 1.5m by about 2m J

Also the lecturer who took us showed us pictures from an awesome website called e-architect. The address is:
